Multi-Account Setup

Run multiple Reddit accounts simultaneously — for teams, agencies, or geo-targeted campaigns across regions and U.S. states.

ReddGrow is designed to work with multiple Reddit accounts from day one. This guide covers the recommended setup patterns for teams, agencies, and anyone running accounts across different regions or verticals.

The Core Model

Each Reddit account needs its own:

  • Browser session with that account logged into reddit.com
  • Chrome extension instance running in that browser
  • Advocate in ReddGrow linked to that Reddit account

The extension acts on whatever Reddit session is active in its browser — it never manages multiple Reddit accounts within a single browser.

Chrome Profiles (Single Computer)

The simplest multi-account setup uses Chrome profiles:

  1. Open Chrome → click your avatar (top right) → Add or Manage profiles
  2. Create one profile per Reddit account (name them by account, e.g., "reddit-account-1")
  3. In each profile:
    • Log into reddit.com with the account for that profile
    • Install the ReddGrow Chrome extension
    • Log into the ReddGrow app and authenticate the extension
  4. Run all profiles simultaneously — they are fully isolated and post independently

Each Chrome profile maintains its own cookies, session storage, and extension state.

GoLogin (Advanced / Large Scale)

For agencies or operators running many accounts, GoLogin provides browser fingerprint isolation on top of session isolation:

  1. Create one GoLogin profile per Reddit account
  2. In each GoLogin profile, open Chrome (or the Orbita browser)
  3. Install the ReddGrow extension inside the GoLogin browser
  4. Log into reddit.com and the ReddGrow app within that profile
  5. Close and re-open GoLogin profiles independently — each maintains its own extension state

Why use GoLogin vs Chrome profiles: GoLogin randomizes browser fingerprints (user agent, screen resolution, canvas, WebRTC, timezone) per profile. This reduces the risk of Reddit correlating multiple accounts to the same machine based on browser fingerprints, which is particularly valuable when running many accounts at scale.

Geo-Targeted Accounts (Multiple U.S. States or Regions)

Pattern for local home services, franchise businesses, or regional SaaS:

  1. Create one Reddit account per target state/region (e.g., reddit_account_tx, reddit_account_ca)
  2. Create one Advocate per account in ReddGrow with a persona appropriate for that region
  3. Assign each advocate to region-specific subreddits (e.g., r/Texas, r/houston, r/HVAC for Texas; r/LosAngeles, r/California for California)
  4. Use the Knowledge Base to add region-specific product details, service areas, and local social proof
  5. Optionally use a proxy per GoLogin profile to match the account's claimed region

Each regional account warms up independently — the karma warmup process runs separately for each.

Team Setup (Multiple People)

When multiple teammates each have their own Reddit account:

  1. Each teammate creates their own Reddit account (or brings an existing one)
  2. Each teammate installs the extension in their own browser and logs in with their own ReddGrow credentials
  3. Each teammate creates an Advocate in the shared org and connects their Reddit account to it
  4. The daily draft pool (e.g., 25/day on Pro) is shared across the org — split however you choose via advocate daily allocation settings

See Working with Teams for role and permission details.

Warming Up Multiple Accounts

Each account has its own warmup state. Start warmup on all accounts simultaneously to reach promotional-posting readiness in parallel rather than sequentially.

On the Journey page, select each account to view its individual warmup progress, karma milestone, and Subreddit Unlock Timeline.

During warmup, accounts need the extension running to complete browsing and warmup comment sessions. Ensure each profile's browser (or GoLogin profile) is open and the extension is active during the daily posting window.

Monitoring All Accounts

The Dashboard account widget shows warmup status for every connected account at a glance. Account cards display:

  • Current karma
  • Account age
  • Fire icon (active warmup) or milestone badge
  • Current promotional ratio
  • Mod status (if the account moderates subreddits)

The Settings → Activity feed is per-extension — each browser/profile has its own activity log visible when logged in with that profile's ReddGrow session.
