Wix Integration: Publish Content Agent Posts to Your Wix Blog
Connect Wix to ReddGrow with a site-scoped API key so the content agent can publish and update blog posts automatically
Once connected, the ReddGrow content agent publishes articles and FAQ blocks into your Wix Blog, creating, updating, and retracting posts as needed. The connection uses an API key scoped to your specific site, generated from your Wix account settings.
Requirements
- You must be the account Owner or a co-owner of the Wix account (only owners can generate API keys)
- The Wix Blog app installed on the site you're connecting
Get your credentials
- Go to manage.wix.com and open Account settings
- Open the API Keys Manager
- Click to generate a new key
- Grant it the Manage Blog permission
- Restrict the key to the specific site you're connecting
- Copy the key immediately. Wix shows it only once
Site ID: open the site's dashboard in Wix and copy the GUID that appears right after /dashboard/ in the browser's address bar.
Connect in ReddGrow
- Go to Settings → Integrations
- Under Website publishing, find the Wix card and click Connect
- Fill in the form:
- Site URL: your site's full
https://address - API key: the key you generated above
- Site ID: the GUID from your site's dashboard URL
- Site URL: your site's full
- Click Connect Wix
If another platform is already connected, ReddGrow warns you that connecting Wix will replace it. Only one website can be connected at a time.
Troubleshooting
I can't find the API Keys Manager in my account
Only the account Owner or a co-owner can see it. If you manage the site but aren't the account owner, ask whoever owns the Wix account to either generate the key for you or add you as a co-owner.
Connecting fails with a 403 or permission error
The key is either missing the Manage Blog permission or was restricted to a different site than the one you're connecting. Generate a new key with the correct permission and site restriction.
I lost the API key before entering it into ReddGrow
Wix only shows the key once at creation time. Generate a new one in the API Keys Manager. You can optionally revoke the old, unused key from the same screen.
Site ID doesn't seem to match
Confirm the GUID was copied from the dashboard URL of the exact site you're connecting. It's easy to grab the wrong one if you manage several Wix sites under the same account.
